(SANDS)
Welcome to the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome (SANDS) website. SANDS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit umbrella organization dedicated
to improving and enriching the lives of those with Down
syndrome. Our purpose is to:

Organize and host diverse community events
to increase and promote community awareness and inclusion
as well as to create new funding resources for the Down
syndrome community

Give back
funds raised
to individuals with DS and their families for the purpose of
enriching their lives through participation in programs, therapies, conferences and more...as well as
Community Grants to local support groups
for their operation expenses.

Develop and/or bring
new programs and services to
benefit the Down syndrome community in Southern Arizona.
We believe that every individual with Down
syndrome should be given the right and opportunity to
reach their highest potential in order to live fulfilling
and productive lives within their community.
