Welcome!

The La Jolla Learning Foundation is a non-profit public benefit corporation formed to provide support to families of children with learning disabilities for the purpose of allowing the children to acquire specialized education at the primary and secondary school level which would prepare the child for further education, employment, and independent living.

Parents Advocating Together is a parent group operating under the La Jolla Learning Foundation. Our purpose is to work with parents of children with disabilities to help them understand their protected rights and procedural safeguards that are offered under IDEA 2004. We teach and offer the tools necessary to support parents to be prepared for IEP’s, and due process. Our desire is to empower parents to advocate for their child’s education.

We believe in helping parents with referrals to the different programs and professionals available in our community to support their child’s unique learning needs.
