Hi-USD is offering free parent trainings to help transition from your infant program (0-3) to a school district preschool program. The training is provided by an attorney that has a special needs child. There are several dates and locations throughout the county. Here's the link:

I went to the transition training and is was time well spent. THe attorney conducting the training is first rate. I feel like I have a better grasp on the process and my rights as a parent. I feel better equiped to be my child's advocate.
